UNIVERSITIES MUST PRODUCE GRADUATES THAT MATCH SOCIETAL NEEDS", DON ADVOCATES AT POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL 1ST PUBLIC LECTURE
The Executive Secretary of the Institute of Entrepreneurs, Nigeria, Prof. Rotimi Oladele has charged stakeholders in the education sector to rejig the curriculum to enable tertiary institutions to produce graduates that match societal needs in the country. This, he said, is the only way for the country to attain the desired development.
Prof. Oladele, who is also a Professor of Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Corporate Governace gave the charge when he spoke at the maiden Lagos State University Postgraduate School Public Lecture, held on Saturday, 6th April 2024 at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, main campus, Ojo. The public lecture, which attracted an array of dignitaries from the university, the industry, and government, was themed “Connecting Town and Gown” with the topic, “Renewed Hope Agenda: The Role of the Academia.”
